2026 Tiffin GT1 recalls

Defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2025-2026 GT1, 2026 GH2, and GH1 motorhomes. A screw may have punctured the fuel tank during manufacturing, causing a fuel leak.

Why it matters: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source, increases the risk of a fire.

Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the remedy is completed. Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel tank as necessary, free of charge. Defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Zephyr, Wayfarer, Phaeton, Open Trail, GT1, Allegro Red, Allegro Open Road, Allegro Bus, Allegro Bay, 2026 Midas, Byway, and Allegro Breeze recreational vehicles, equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat.

Why it matters: An overheated printed circuit board increases the risk of a fire.

Dealers will replace the circuit board, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 26, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2025-2026 GT1, GH1, and 2026 GH2 motorhomes. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label states an incorrect number of seat belt equipped seating positions, which can result in unbelted passengers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.”.

Why it matters: Unbelted passengers may not be properly restrained in a crash, increasing their risk of injury.

Tiffin will mail corrected labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 2, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661.
