2026 Ic Bus Cecb recalls

Defect: International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2025-2027 IC Bus CECB transit buses. The driver's window panel and entrance door vertical joints may have been attached without sufficient epoxy coverage. As such these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 221, "School Bus Body Joint Strength.".

Why it matters: The body panels may separate during a crash, reducing structural integrity and increasing the risk of injury.

Defect: International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2026 IC Bus CECB buses. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Why it matters: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.

Why it matters: Unintended activation of the parking brake while driving increases the risk of a crash.

Defect: International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2026 IC Bus CECB commercial buses. The weld on the crank shaft assembly may fail, preventing the the left-side wiper from working.

Why it matters: An inoperative wiper can reduce the driver's ability to see out of the windshield, increasing the risk of a crash.
