2025 Viking Travel Trailers Viking recalls

Defect: Forest River, Inc (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Clipper and Viking travel trailers. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. The bottle bracket welds may break and cause the propane tank to detach from the vehicle.

Why it matters: A detached propane tank may become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.

Defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Viking and Clipper travel trailers. The fresh water holding tank support bracket may be the incorrect gauge and may break.

Why it matters: A broken bracket can cause the tank to detach, increases the risk of a crash.

Defect: Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2024-2025 Viking and Clipper travel trailers. The side marker lights may not reflect light as intended, which can make it difficult for other drivers to see the trailer. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.".

Why it matters: Insufficiently reflective side marker lights can reduce the trailer's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
