2025 Oshkosh Ngdv recalls

Defect: Oshkosh Corporation (Oshkosh Defense) is recalling certain 2025-2026 NGDV vehicles. The mounting pin and retaining clip that retain the brake actuator rod to the brake pedal may not have been installed.

Why it matters: An unsecured brake pedal can separate from the actuator, causing a loss of braking ability and increase the risk of a crash.

Oshkosh Defense will inspect and install the mounting pin and retaining clip as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on February 16, 2026. Defect: Oshkosh Corporation (Oshkosh Defense) is recalling certain 2025 NGDV vehicles. The rear axle hub fasteners may loosen, causing the wheel to detach.

Why it matters: A detached wheel can cause a loss of vehicle control or become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Defect: Oshkosh Corporation (Oshkosh Defense) is recalling certain 2025 NGDV delivery vehicles. The air bag warning label on the sun visor may detach. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection.".

Why it matters: A missing label cannot warn occupants about the risks of air bag deployment, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Defect: Oshkosh Corporation (Oshkosh) is recalling certain 2025 Defense NGDV ICE 2WD, AWD, and BEV 2WD vehicles. The rearview camera image may not display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility.".

Why it matters: A blank rearview camera display can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Oshkosh will inspect and replace the head units as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2025. Owners may contact Oshkosh customer service at 1-800-830-3554.
