2025 Forest River Freelander recalls

Defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Sunseeker, Solera, Forester, Freelander, Leprechaun, and East to West Entrada motorhomes. The fuel line extension connectors may have inconsistent crimps, allowing the fuel line to detach.

Why it matters: A detached fuel line can leak, increasing the risk of a fire.

Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel lines as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning September 26, 2025. Entrada owners may contact customer service at 1-574-264-6664. Forester, Solera, and Sunseeker owners may contact customer service at 1-574-206-7600. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.".

Why it matters: Inoperative taillights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Freelander motorhomes. The Federal Placard indicates 30 seat-belted positions in the rear, when the correct number of belted positions is 3. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other than Passenger Cars" and 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification.".

Why it matters: Incorrect seating capacity information may lead to overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
