2025 Coach And Equipment Phoenix recalls

Defect: Coach and Equipment Mfg. Corp. (Coach and Equipment) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Phoenix, and 2025-2026 Metrolite transit buses, equipped with certain S-Series wheelchair platform lifts. The electrical contactor may fail, preventing the controls from stopping the lift.

Why it matters: A wheelchair lift that continues to move while occupied increases the risk of injury.

Dealers will correct the wiring by installing two diodes, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 31, 2026. Owners may contact Coach and Equipment customer service at 1-800-724-8464.

Why it matters: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.
