2024 Coachmen Prism recalls

Defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Coachmen Prism PRC24MB motorhomes. The Federal Information label may indicate the incorrect number of seat belts installed, resulting in an incorrect cargo carrying capacity.

Why it matters: Incorrect cargo carrying capacity information may result in an overloaded vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Forest River will mail new labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-825-8487. Forest River's number for this recall is 215-1747.

Why it matters: Carbon monoxide inside the passenger cabin increases the risk of injury or death.

Dealers will install the correct cold air return grill as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 15, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-825-8602. Forest River's number for this recall is 215-1733.
