Defect: Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2022-2027 Ekko motorhomes. The touchscreen display may register unintended or phantom inputs and turn on the generator without the operator's knowledge.

Why it matters: People in an enclosed space, such as a garage, with a running generator may be at an increased risk of injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Owners are advised to park outside until the repair has been performed. Winnebago will release an over-the-air (OTA) software update, free of charge. Defect: Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Solis, Travato, and Ekko vehicles, equipped with GE-ES Double Flipseats. The seat belt retractors may lock up when the vehicle is on a slight incline. As such, these seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards numbers 208, "Occupant Crash Protection" and 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies.".

Why it matters: If the seat belt retractor locks, a passenger may believe they are trapped in the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.
